Hi,
Bob and I are charter members! Entry into the group requires you to have camped at -30 C (-22 f). Preferably without using more than 15 amp power.
BTW I have not burned ANY propane since I returned to Canada on Jan 22. Except for the fridge sipping some when some how the 30 amp cord got unplugged! (now, where is that bungee cord....).
I am looking forward to the warmer weather so that I can start surviving on 15 to 30 amps, instead of guzzling 5000 watts at a campground.
Tomorrow night (2014 02 28) the forecast is for -42 C (-43.6 f). Unfortunately I'm not in the RV--but I'd definitely need my propane tank heater (not that I'd expect to use any propane--but to keep it in "back up" mode if the power should fail.)

Bob, you and Pianotuna should get together and have start a ILIRVICW Special Interest Group. (Idiots Living In RVs In Canadian Winter.) :B
I have no idea how Don (Pianotuna) earns enough money to buy propane. Who the heck gets their piano tuned in the middle of winter?:h
