I agree that the lady bringing the 12 yr. old in was way out of bounds.
I can't help but wonder though: Doing your highlights while camping? Did you have a function to attend? Do you wear high heels too? No offence meant but when we camped my wife didn't do "maintenance" stuff while camping.
