Can’t say I’ve ever planned fuel stops unless there’s a sign that says no gas xxx miles or something.
Ya know, you can zoom in on your phone map and look at anything anywhere in less time than it took to write this post?

If on the freeway most all stations are huge.
If on rural highways, you get what you get.
If in town and one station looks small go to the next one. If the next one is worse, turn around and go back if you’re going to run out before the next town?
But to be fair, driving personal rigs, never been much more than maybe 55’ long and I know how to back up
