I agree, they should of at least discounted you on it. They should of also called you and informed you ahead of time and let you decide if you still wanted to come. I'm sorry, if they are going to cater to groups that make reservations or come up at the least minute and give them your site, then it's a place I don't want to stay in. Now if they upgraded you to a better site and didn't charge you the difference and you agreed to it, then fine. Obviously they have some connection with the group (probably some frequents or friends).
