This group of three nicely sized MH, found a great Urban campsite in the SOHO district of NYC! Maybe called Lafayette Landing or something similar, the location was on Lafayette St. Just need to carry a few traffic cones so you can put out the slides and enjoy the sounds of the City!! Horns, traffic, 3 am garbage trucks, and fire trucks with train horns!! I didn't see any camp fires or lawn chairs! :B

I can't imagine any ordinary "Joe Shmuck" parking there like that. I bet they were part of a group, an entertainment group, a group of musicians, or actors doing a performance and were parked there while their performance was going on. Notice the vendor both with the canopy on the left of the photo. Probably a street side booth to sell their memorabilia. Went to a Kenny Rogers concert a couple years ago. Same situation... except the RV's (2 of them) were in the parking lot at the College auditorium where they were performing. And their booth with memorabilia was right inside the door of the auditorium.

Just interesting the three MH without the other equipment trailers and rigs. Have seen dressing room semis, and food service rig in the city before. This just appeared to tbe the three MH.

'Expendables Plus Inc' (left side of photo) is a Full Service Production Supply House for Film, Television Commercials, Music Videos and the Independent Film Industry.Surprised street is not blocked off and traffic diverted.

Not going to happen for the regular guy that is passing through NYC... They have some special permits.

A friend of mine does that- the one he has now has the 800 watts of solar, 9 battery agm (1100 amp hours) with Xantrex 3KW PSW and all LED makeup lighting.Here he is in front of Trump Towers earlir this year- note new Atwood 15k heat pumps.

"Trump Tower" and "Trump International Hotel and Tower" not the same thing.
Trump needs to get more creative with his building naming.

On edit: Photo was taken at the corner of 61st Street and Broadway as per Google. Not "in front" of either Trump "Tower".

Looks to me like it would have been a lot friendlier to go with trailers without slides - the slides clearly extend out into the next lane over resulting in greater traffic restriction.

These are used as dressing rooms for actors. They sell these after several year at a good price. The gensets have very high hrs and the main eng almost no mileage. The interiors and carpet have a fair amount of wear. I looked at 3 of these units before buying my current MH.

Those motorhomes for New York have their LP systems removed so they can go through tunnels and all bridge levels. Considerable time is spent at the end of the New York season removing taxi cab yellow paint from the bumpers.

I'm pretty happy that Maybelline likes that truck for makeup- we put "binned" led strips @ 5500k color temp- 160 feet of them.

The back of the truck- can be used as either makeup or wardrobe, by folding tables down.

Jeez, and I feel bad when parking in front of our place and stick the slides out getting it loaded. Next they need to bring in some dirt and pine cones to give it the campground feel.

That's not Trump Tower behind it, but that's where it is- this was Christy Turlington for Maybelline- the shoot where she lost control of her dogs.
