  • This our downsized rig we use for local camping. Both our smart cars are set up for towing. Sometimes we take the Kayak and other times not. It has added a whole new dimension to our full time RV lifestyle. With the Kayak it comes in around 540 pounds plus or minus. Fridge/Freezer, porta potti, solar panel. Lotsa fun. Very solid on the road and the little diesel pulls it well. Around low 50s for mileage when towing.

  • We traveled and camped via motorcycle for years, it was quite an adventure and lots of fun.

    dreamer.
  • What more do you need?

Looks like they ride a trike also, and gets great gas mileage and still have a certain amount of comfort. Might not be the most enjoyable way to travel, but I'm betting they have more travel miles than most on this forum.

Now back in the 70's I had a chopper, foxy gal, and a tent and bags strapped to the sissy bar when I traveled. That was great fun also. :B
  • I use to own one of these rigs, or something simalar back in the 90's when wife an dI where riding. Back then it was called a "Kick-Kamp trailer, and where made right here in Abilene, Texas. The company closed it's doors, or moved smewhere else. Haven't seen one on the road in a long time. You could set one up in less then 5 minutes.
