You can set the timer for just about any amount of time you choose. I've had mine for almost 2 years and LOVE it! Most versatile cooking tool I own - use in my RV and have one in my home kitchen!
This turned out to be a very good post/thread (as many do). I never realized until today that my 'Nuwave-Cooktop' had a timer. Just never took the time to read the instructions (or confusions)!
Saw my son today and told him about it, and he just kinda looked at me with pity and said "Dad, I need to find you a girlfriend to look out for you" - Oh well, live and learn I guess!
