Yes, you can bring your personal cart like we do. But, you will have to have and show proof at the Golf Cart office $50,000 in liability insurance on that golf cart. You will then have to pay the $25 sticker fee. I think to cover the ballpark of about $125 (insurance and sticker fee) that it might not be worth the hassle to save a few bucks. The sticker is attached to the golf cart. They are color coded for the year. Last year was blue, this year is yellow. If security sees you driving around without the proper sticker on your cart, they will stop you. Whether they make you go get the sticker, make you remove the cart from the premises, fine you or kick you out, nobody knows. I don't think they will kick you out. But for underage or reckless driving, they will fine you $100.

Its a legal thing if you get caught lying on the contract you sign you take the risk of fines / being banned forever having a golf / being banned from the campground or other legal actions..... You sign a contract to get the sticker......Personally it is not worth the risk just like on the streets get in an accident without insurance & see what can happen............. have seen a few that get caught at OL have to put their carts in storage until they leave. - wbwoodExplorerYes, you can bring your personal cart like we do. - TerryallanExplorer IIBut, Can't I get a sticker for one. Just like IF I brought it in as my personal cart? After all. Many, many campers bring their own carts to OL, Don't they just get a sticker when they get there, and if it has no advertising on it. How would OL know its a rental, and not my personal cart?
Not arguing, Just wondering. - OaklevelExplorer

Be sure to check first I don't think Ocean Lakes will allow outside rental carts.
How would they know, IF you don't tell them? Unless of course the carts have the names all over them
Because unless its one of OL rentals, they have stickers on them for the current year. Unless the person renting the cart is going to get $50,000 liability insurance coverage for e golf cart and pay a $25 sticker fee, then they would know.
Graham does gc rentals for Lakewood.
X 2.... All outside golf carts are required to have the annual sticker..... if they don't you won't ride in the long........... Ocean Lakes Rental Carts are marked as such & have a number - wbwoodExplorer
