Once, stopping for gas while towing my Prius, the lady pumping gas next to me asked what kind of mileage I got. I told her between the Prius and the motorhome I average 27 MPG. She looked at me kind of funny then said "That's not bad at all!".
On a similar note, that reminds me of my favorite response when some smart ass invariably asks while I'm filling the RV "what sort of mileage do you get with THAT thing?"
My response: "Not too good for a car but excellent for a house."
