For such short stays, why not just bring a few water jugs? You could skip showers and use body wipes (same thing as handi-wipes, just a little bigger) if it is just going to be an overnight stay.
Seems like a lot of work for such short, infrequent trips.
Wife and two young daughters will be going with me. I want to have a nice setup similar to what we used to have when we hunted. The extra water will be worth its weight in gold for them.
