Hi Bob,
How many watts? Can either bar operate by itself? Thermostat (mine don't have this feature). Cost?BobsYourUncle wrote:
I opened the box just now to have a look at the heater. Something rattling around inside the box.
I have a look and find a wayward screw for something, and a dime! LOL, a dime inside the box!
Laid the heater on its back on my counter top and plugged it in. Wow! It really puts out some serious heat! I'm impressed.
750 / 1500 watts.
Operate one bar or both.
No thermostat, either on or off.
55 bucks at Rona, on sale from 65. Minus 10 cents!!
Likely on sale to clear them out to make way for spring stock.
I had a tough time finding one. I went to many stores including other Ronas. Wally World had nearly bare shelves.
Funny how I arrived there today. I had given up on finding one after going from store to store. I needed to refill a 30# propane bottle, again. I went to the place I have been getting them at for 47 bucks a pop! Co-op store. They were out of propane so I asked them where to get some. They pointed me at a Fas Gas or something a short hike down the street.
So I went there and filled my bottle for 30 bucks instead of 47! :E Hmmm.
While there i needed a fuse for a 3 way splitter for the cig lighter socket. He didn't have any. I asked where the nearest auto part store was. Down there he says. I drive there and the place is closed. So I pull out and get in the right turn lane, signal on, ready to go back to the RV. I look left to check traffic and what do I see? another Rona store. Hmmmm, change signal and crank a left from the right turn and go into Rona.
They had quite a few of these things in stock, on sale.
Bonus!
