Oil for V6 Sprinter Engine

You basically look at a a chart to figure out what weight oil you use in the area of the country (temps!) you are in. I put 0W40 in most Benz motors unless it specifically calls for something else. But going by the chart you could run just about any weight oil.

my 5cyc mercedes benz diesel calls for 0-40 I,ll stick with it. why change?

As well as regular mobil 1, many variants of Mobil1 as well as conventional mobil oil

I have a Guardian by Generac, Propane 3.4KW in mine. I haven't read up on the subject so I'm not sure what oil to use. It would be nice if I could carry one brand/type oil for both engines.

I just changed the oil in my generator and purchased 5-30 synthetic . I got it at my local auto parts store

Better tell Walmart as they still sell 5W30 in both synthetic and conventional
