Seriously, aluminized bubble wrap on windows is simple and cheap insulation in hot weather. Some gaffer's tape, not so much but it's cheap and would help.
Maybe their A/C can't keep up, or one of two failed, or they like cooler temps.
In any case, it's their business, and isn't a tin foil helmet sort of thing.

And tape over the Pace arrow emblem helps the ac the most lol
