If it was me Ben, I would run em. I would think you would disagree with that opinion and that's fine?
Why would I run em?
I just have not had any bad experience with ST trailer tires. 1 blowout in my life and I think it was a low pressure deal that I did not catch in time. I will say this. ALL of my experience was with bias tires up until 2 years ago. That is when I went the radials. The only problem I had with cheap ST bias were they wore like butter.
I don't really know why I do not have tire problems? I break every rule known to mankind when it comes to tires.
Cheap ST tires, check.
Always run fast, check.
Always run in hot weather, check.
The only thing I can think of is most don't run bias ply and I did. I also run max pressure and sometimes +10 PSI. I'm also not very heave at 7,000 lbs.
Maybe you or Capri can come up with some ideas of my success?
