Ya I know what you're saying Ben.
I do not like the idea of dated tires. And if they have an expiration date it will drive the I have tires on my ranch on some things that are over 50 years old and are just fine.
I do know one thing. I've had Michelin tires that blew up in my driveway. A lot of them. 5 years just like clockwork. That's why I do not like Michelin tires to this day.
Vulcan I also see what you're saying but think about this. You make an airplane but everybody says it's dangerous. But you fly it anyway. In fact you put 10,000 hours on it without any incident whatsoever. Is it really dangerous or tempting fate?
I do know one other thing. When I got up my radial tires I picked up a bias and the bias was about twice as heavy. The sidewall of the bias was super heavy compared to the radial.
Like I said, I just don't have trailer tire troubles. Why? I don't know...........I just hope my luck holds out until they put me in the ground. :B
