Very good point Capri.
But one would think in over 50 years of running ST tires (counting my dad too) I would have statistically more than 1 failure especially after breaking almost every tire rule know to mankind?
After seeing some of the discussions on RV.net some think that if I go 3 MPH over the maximum speed rating of the tire for 10 seconds I'm risking all of my families lives and dozens of people around my RV on the road. :R
I guess my point is, IMHO around 80 to 90% of the ST tire failures we hear about on RV.net are puncture/ low pressure failures and NOT actual "blowouts."
