- Johno02ExplorerWe always leave at least one slideing window unlocked, not necessarily the same one. Sometimes we drive with one or more open for ventilation. But we have been locked in or out by failing door locks at least twice, and a unlocked window prevents breaking one.
- wa8yxmExplorer IIISometimes it is this. And this is the time of year for it.
IN THE CAMPGROUND it is more energy efficient plus there are other benefits to opening the windows Firing up the Max-Air or Fantastic Fan and shutting down the air conditioners... THen you forget to close the windows.
Do not know about motor homes but long about 40 MPH on cars it's more efficient to close the windows (Improves air flow around the car) and fire up dash air.
Dash air. Fails and many C's don't have generators like my A does (New A/C Compressor this spring in fact on my A)
I do not lock my windows. Sometimes they open on their own (Well the rear windows are either locked or up/down,, The front windows other than the cockpit are sliders) - Hank_MIExplorer

My first thought would be I couldn't care less what others do with their windows. - jplante4Explorer III found that if I have an open window, the suction of passing trucks will pull a window on the opposite side and it starts to rattle. This drives the DW nuts and she has to get up and diddle with the window until it's silent again.
- TvovExplorer IIMy first thought would be they just forgot to close it.
- gboppExplorerI drive with the windows open on our 96 Southwind. Sometimes all windows, sometimes just the back windows. With the back windows open I get ventilation with less noise.
But, that's just me. I can't speak for others. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIOP do you leave your windows open......NO, then why not :H
- darsben1ExplorerLet the bad rear end smell out.
- LwiddisExplorer IIOK Put a little more time into your posts, tonijim. Who, what, when, where, why, how....
