Forgive me for asking---

We run a Chevy 2500 long bed non-4x4 and a much heavier camper. With the overloads just touching, the camper feels just a bit top heavy. I added a Hellwig sway bar which eliminated most of the sway. Made it very comfortable to drive.

You said your sway bar made no difference. I would be concerned it wasn't installed correctly. You should feel some difference even if it wasn't a very strong bar. I think the Roadmaster is a heavier duty bar than the 1 1/8" that I have.

If you want to increase the overload tension without spending so much, look at the Energy Suspension products. They have rubber spacers that will fit your overloads for about $30 for 4 on ebay. There was a conversation last week concerning these. You might search previous posts.

Ya, no problem realter. Just being a smart aAs.
Lower Stableloads are more versatile and help more with sway at a higher ride ht where Timbrens to get the same ride ht may not let the lower leaf spring engage. They'll hold the load up but sway a bit more.
Plus you can disengage the stable loads when not hauling a load.
Only downside is drilling the spring, but I think? Your Chevy has a hole in each spring end already. Which makes them a super simple install.
If you have basic tools and a jack you can install either without much issue if the shops are charging more than you wanna pay.
On a 1-10 scale of complexity and tools required for mechanic work, both of these things are about a 2 to install.

We have a 2009 Duramax crew cab, swb and carry a Northstar Adventurer 8.5, similar to the Larado. We have Firestone air bags, Hellwig Big Wig sway bar, and Rancho 9000 shocks. With the rear tires, 235/16 Michlin TSX at 80 lbs the sway isn't terrible. I am a totally new to this truck camper gig, and I have the Torqlift Topguns tiedowns. I made the mistake of using the tiedowns too loose, and we would develop a sway that was unacceptable. I reread the tightening the Topguns and I found that the mount arms in the outer holes helps too.

Thanks for the positive comments so far, sorry I irked the 2 guys from WA. I was thinking the suspension on a GM 2500 would be a lot different from a Dodge or F3500, so just thought I'd save you the trouble of tapping out a response. Me bad??

I has a Dodge, so I won't reply....
Know that they work the same on all brands and the rear suspensions are basically the same between all brands (unless you're talking new rams with coils or air ride).

I am not telling what I have on my truck - that stuff would not work on g... motors anyway!

I have both lower Stable Loads and Timbrens on my '12 GMC 2500HD. The lower Stable Loads will make the best improvement reducing sway and reduce much of your sag. I have the Timbrens for when I have my ATV trailer connected and additional tongue weight.
