I drive charter bus, school bus and my MH and I check all of them with a tire gauge before starting out. When I'm out on the road in my MH I use a rubber mallet on the duals at rest stops and can tell if there is a difference in sound. I also feel each tire and hub for heat as well as checking all the lights. It also gives me a chance to visually check the coach and toad. I also check all fluids EVERY morning in the morning in the MH as well as do a tap test every morning after the jacks are pulled up and the bags inflated. How many of you even know what that is?
I see way too many folks out there that just hookup and go. The only time their fluids are checked is when they're serviced. There is way too much dependence on electronics anymore, tire pressure, backup cameras, collision avoidance, etc. now it's just jump in and point and shoot.
