old school observation.... tire whacker
Observed this weekend...18 wheeler operator using a metal rod , strolled around his rig... whacked each tire. No TPMS, no digital tire pressure gauge. The man makes a living driving big rigs. Hm...

I am not allowed to whack the tires on my pre-trip, I must use a tire gauge. What can really be a pain,since I retired after 10 years on a school bus and am now back doing sub driving,is that some days I will drive two different routes in a day and have to pre-trip two different buses. Sooo I asked for a GOOD spare and I drive that and just change the route letters to whatever route I'm driving.
