Observed this weekend...18 wheeler operator using a metal rod , strolled around his rig... whacked each tire. No TPMS, no digital tire pressure gauge. The man makes a living driving big rigs. Hm...

Agreed. My point was that just because something could be used as a weapon, doesn't mean it has to be locked up and treated as a weapon when it has a legitimate purpose. The post I responded to seemed to convey the point that something with a legitimate purpose should be locked up simply because it could also be used as a weapon.
