That urban myth has been around since long before I retired... I have seen it published in police magazines (I was a dispatcher) let's see. I was at post 29 when I read it, so that means it was BEFORE 1992.. We centeralized in 1991 I think.

There is no way you can siphon out of the black tank unless you either

1: Stick the hose down from the roof (not something the thief would even consider) or 2 Stick it down the toilet, there is no "Cap" that looks like a gas cap which is at a level you can reach standing on the ground..

Still Wendy (Who issues the Darwin awards) Has investigated and proven it to be false.. But every year it comes up in the forums, EVERY YEAR at least one forum (I read several different forums).

Oh, one other Darwin story.. This is one of my favorites since I had the T-Shirt. IT is, however, mis-titled: Living on Zionist time.. You see, darwin award recipents do not usually live, and these were no exception.

Seems that Zionists do respect Daylight Savings Time but.. They "Spring Forward" and "Fall Back" on a different day....

Well the maker of the bomb (A car bomb) was on DST, and the 4 who were delivering it (Takes 4 to get up enough courage to drive a car bomb it seems) on ST.. so about 55 minutes from the building they were supposed to park in front of BOOM 4 dead terrorists, some junk to clear off the road and no other injuries or damage.


NOTE: as a police dispatcher... I "Discovered" a few folks who were competing for a Darwin and even sent Wendy an E-Mail or two about them
