Open or closed

When setup on a long term site with FHU does one leave the tanks open & periodically dump ( what we do) or just leave open ?
Its a small trailer with one person living in it while working during the week & not much weekend use as he comes home.

    Well leaving any tank open leaves you susceptible to Campground sewer backup!!

    There have been a couple post of members coming back to find their trailer flooded with not so pleasant fluids.
