I have a 2016 ventana I store it in a garage. My question is should I store it with the black and gray valves open or closed? Keep in mind I have properly flushed and cleaned both tanks. I have currently stored it with both valves open for about a week. I do live in Phoenix Az so freezing is not a problem. Today I shut both valves which was very difficult. Thanks for your input.

Leave them open. Every rat and mouse will make it their home. Next time camping. Close valves before you leave and fill up with water. Drain before you set up camp

Ole B, you have been a member since 2005, why would you think it's a good idea to leave your tanks open? Leaving them closed is the best thing to do.

Keep'm closed until they fill up.

I leave them closed with a LITTLE water in there to keep the seals from drying out and making the valves difficult to slide. I have heard that some even put a little vegetable oil in for the same purpose.

If we’re me I’d close them and add a gallon or two to EACH tank to make sure any residual matter stays wet and keeps the seals wet and flexible.

Open them up, spray some seal lube on the seals and close them. I could do this on the gasser but the Sahara's pipes make to many turns to allow me to get any spray in there. I need to get one of those long tubes for spray lubes like they use on airplanes.
