Opinions on 3400 champion inverter generator.
In the market for genny for 3 or 4 times a year boon docking. About 1000 dollars. Any opinions on it? Would appreciate in advance.

- Bought a 3400 in Jan and have about 20hrs on it. I can't find anything to complain about, and certainly not the price. It replaced a Honda 3000i Handy that couldn't run our 15k AC. The 3400 will run one AC and the MW. Someone mentioned the 3100 for under $600, but I doubt it will run a 15k AC. Wait, I do have a complaint. The oil drain path does not allow for a neat oil change.
- I don't have one but, I would not hesitate to buy the Champion generator.
Someone posted yesterday that the 3100 inverter, electric start was on sale at Amazon.com for, I think, $595.00. - You know you can always edit your post. Just hit edit.
