Oregon Coast Maintenence Host Position Available Summer 2014

Position was filled, but their travel plans and finances changed so they cannot make it this year. STILL AVAILABLE!

Camp Blanco RV Park (www.campblanco.com), located on the beautiful southern Oregon coast in the small town of Port Orford, is looking for a maintenence host for the spring/summer 2014. We are a smaller, well-rated Good Sam and AAA park on Highway 101 about 60 miles north of the California border. We are looking for the same arrangement we have had the last 2 years. Looking for roughly the months of June, July, and August, but would look at extending that timeframe slightly earlier and/or later.

Duties are simple light maintenence including painting, raking, mowing, landscaping, tree trimming, etc. No heavy work. Work days are very flexible, typically working 3 to 4 days a week. Again, we are very flexible on days and hours worked, and very easy to get along with. We will work with you an a schedule that works well for you and the park both.

We are offering free RV space and all utilities in exchange, the same as our State Parks do. This includes water, sewer, garbage, electric, 60+ channels of cable TV and high-speed Internet. Ideally we are looking for a person or couple who wants free lodging and utilities, and likes to keep busy doing something, while living in a beautiful area. Only 1 person will be on duty so a spouse would not be working at the park, but could certainly help if desired.

Camp Blanco is a smaller, very clean and quiet park within walking distance to everything in town, and just 2 minutes to 3 of the most gorgeous beaches in the country. Mild "banana belt" weather makes our area a huge destination for RV'ers from all over the country. We have a great reputation, great reviews, and many yearly repeat guests. Port Orford is the oldest townsite on the Oregon coast, rich in history and preserved with a quaint, small town atmosphere. There are many art galleries, restaurants, shops, a unique no-river-bar open water port with a working commercial fishing fleet, and lots of things to do and see. Please see www.enjoyportorford.com for more info on the area.

We would like at least 2 references, preferably someone you have Workkamped or hosted for before. And we would like info and if possible, a picture of your RV (year, make, model, etc.) Please email us direct at campblanco@yahoo.com for more info, questions, or to send us your info and references. You can also find and LIKE us on Facebook. Thanks.
