Is there a fuse in the mix? Our living room slide every once in a long while will blow the 30 amp fuse that protects the circuit. The bedroom slide also has a 30 amp fuse.

How does this work?

I purchased a bumper pull from RV Outlet in Georgetown TX in March of last year. We put it in park in Aransas Pass TX and plan on leaving it there indefinitely. This past weekend's trip down and the slide won't open.

Did you try to open the slides when you were hooked up to shore power? Did you have your truck electrically connected to the trailer with the truck engine running??

Both, separately.
Neither worked.

You might want to try using the hand hydraulic pump to move the slides, assuming your trailer has this feature. My Hyraulic pump is located towards the front of the trailer in a seperate storage area.

First call the dealer. If it is a new RV you may have to contact or take it to the brand name dealer. If it is an "extended warranty" on a previously owned RV the you can take it anywhere BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW ALL THE RULES. After market warranties REQUIRE that you receive prior authorization before any work is started (some have an exception for a weekend emergency, but there are limits). Some restrict charges by mobile mechanics if your near your home base, again there are exception. Therefore, make calls before you do anything.
Don't worry, it will all work out, it is just part of the fun life experience.

If you call the place you purchased the trailer they would most CERTAINLY expect you to bring it to them. However, the warranty is NOT with the sales dealer it's from the factory that built the RV so any place that sells that brand can do warranty work for you. Actually you ca have warranty work done at places that don't even HANDLE that brand but it's POSSIBLE that you may have to pay up front and get reimbursed from the manufacturer afterward. If you choose that route I'd advise that you contact the manufacturer beforehand and get authorization for the repair. IF you always had to return to the place of purchase it would take an AWFUL lot of fun out of RVing since they may spend LITTLE time near home. I'll call them tomorrow. Was just trying to prepare myself for the BS I'm thinking I'll encounter when I talk to them.

What does your extended warranty say? repairs only at dealer? a lot of these things just provide certain payments to whoever does the work based on what the contract covers.

They're going to expect it to come to them. These guys little if anything on warranty work and won't drive out of the way to help.
