I like the rope lighting........
Hanging lights on awning...........nope.
Did that once when we first hit the road. Strung lights all around awning and looked so good..until storm blew in and had to rip them down to save awning before wind tore it up.
After that I was done with awning lights.
I don't even hang lights from eves on house now.
But I do like them rope lights.......
