oven use in travel trailer

Would like advice on temperature settings when using the oven. We used it once on our previous unit with a frozen pizza. Used recommended temp setting and ended up with burnt crust and uncooked topping. Help!! Currently use the oven for morning toast and baked potatoes.

The only thing I have ever used my microwave for is storage. That's where the potatoes and onions hang out.

That being the case it would seem to make more sense to remove the MW entirely and use that space for storing more than just potatoes & onions. :)
    I'm working on it. :)
  • I use the regular oven once and awhile in the spring and the fall during camping to bake pigs in a blanket, biscuits, or something like that. The rest of the year I cook outside.

I don't use the microwave oven much when I'm camping but, have used it on occasion. I would starve to death without the one in my home though.

We have used an Air Bake pan under whatever we're cooking for the last many years and can cook whatever we could at home.

x2 on the Air Bake. They cut the direct bottom heat down. Pizzas come out perfect on one.

We've also baked cakes just fine rectangle pans directly on the rack.

X3 on using the Air Bake pan. Makes a world of difference on burning or not burning the bottom of food :)
