Last fall met a young Australian couple that shipped their '70's diesel LandCruiser here and started their journey.
I was actually more interested in the LandCruiser as it was a model I had never seen before. Looked like an Isuzu Trooper.
The amazing thing was as I was doing a job this week the house next door had one of these same LandCruiser's parked in front of it. RHD and all.
After high school a friend and I loaded up a Toyota pickup and drove cross country camping in state parks.
Those were the days of freedom.
