So with all the Camping World and Marcus postings, is this owned and operated by Camping World and Marcus?

Nope, In the world of finance that make him a stock holder and not an owner. Those are two VERY different things.
He does not have total control over the company and has to answer to a board and other stock holders.
An owner would have to do neither.
When you take a company public, you give up ownership.
