If yours doesn't have a shut-off valve, you can buy one at HD or Lowe's for about $5, and just install it yourself.
For the OP, I think I'd change the hose, unless you find that it is a project on your rig. I'm a firm believer in KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid:)), so unless you want the parts to match, or the new hose is longer, why bother changing it.....a hose is a hose.
