Paper journal recommendations

We are looking for some recommendations on a paper journal. We are looking at The Camper's Journal on Amazon and it looks good. But would like to hear what others are using. I do not want to use an electronic log. looking for recommendations on paper only. Trying to keep track of when and where we have been. What we might do again and what we never want to do again. I did a search but did not come up with a good answer.
  • I made my own on Microsoft word. I can print additional pages when I need it. Keep them in a 3 ring binder. Send me a PM with your email & I'll be glad to send you a copy.
  • Same here - I use the 8.5x11 legal pad type paper and make my notes all day - in the evening I key into my laptop the day's adventures. Works great for us.
  • We picked up a journal/log at the local office supply place. Prior to going full time, we used plain spiral notebooks. You do not need a special "camping" titles book.

  • Same as JT. We used simple notebooks.

Today, I use Excel Spreadsheet (helps calc miles, number nights camped, etc). I have it formatted to print out similar to what we use to do in our notebook.
  • Before all the tech toys, I kept written travel "journals" in simple spiral-bound notebooks. These are cheap, portable, available just about anywhere, and come in a variety of sizes and "paper rules", usually "college" or wide, and quality (and sometimes color) of paper. I used the notebooks with heavier covers and pale green paper; easier to see. Worked for me for *many* years and thousands of miles of travel.
