I suppose there are different levels of "safe drivers".
I IMO there's such a thing as placing yourself in a "sitting duck" situation. I certainly do NOT trust any driver who is behind me to stop before they hit me.
Monitor your rearview mirrors as well as your forward and side view. And, don't get distracted.
