Flares and 2 sets of the big semi-truck red triangles are on board my RV at all times.
There is No excuse for anyone hauling a TT, FW or driving a MH for not having those safety items on board at all times. For instances just like this and it all could have been avoided if proper safety emergency reflectors/flares where placed around the disabled vehicle.
Just like life jackets on boats I think it should be mandatory for RV's to have highway emergency equipment on board also and use them or be ticketed just like the semi's have to. Just saying.
