Now I know why there are so many accidents! If you cannot see well enough to stop for an unlit object, any object, in the roadway you are speeding. And yes, that is the law here in Ca. A stopped vehicle should be easy to see. If you can't judge its speed, or lack thereof, again, you are speeding. This is just common sense.
