Our National Park Rangers 1 gets right around $21,000 part time and $32,000.00 per year full time.
As a comparison when I retired as a Police Officer after 30 years I was above $130,000 and had supurb benefits!
As far as I'm concerned the Park Rangers are abused, shot at, treated like s@@t by the public, are responsible for patrolling huge areas by themselves, have to use 2nd and 3rd hand equipment and get to all this with pathetic pay. Did anyone say HERO'S! Yep..that too!
