I guess that old man lived somewhere that gives toilets to wildlife as well? Where does he think all the critters in his neighborhood relieve themselves? At least the woman would have (hopefully) picked up the poop.
Peeing on a temporary structure like a canopy, I can understand getting upset about that. If you set it up and keep eyes on it, you expect no wildlife, domesticated animal nor human to urinate or defecate on it. A permanent structure though... something has peed or pooped on or near it.
Some people need to get a grip on reality...
