Think about the benefits of not having it in your yard... its harder for thieves and other miscreants to realize you are gone on vacation. We park ours in the backyard. When the truck and trailer aren't in the yard, its fairly obvious to anyone that pays attention. Thankfully we live in a good neighborhood and have a lot of retiree's that live around us and are good about keeping an eye out on the house while we are gone.
My friend can't park his at his house (HOA regulations), so he parks it at another friends house who has a huge yard. Its a LOT harder for someone to realize that he is gone on vacation.
