passing signal
I understand that in Mexico the truckers turn on their left signal to let you know that it is safe to pass. We in the US. ought to start doing that.

WRONG!!!! Your bad. You just tried to pass someone on the left that was signaling a left hand turn. And as luck would have it, an on coming cop will witness the whole thing. :(
