We use Passport American and have more than gotten our money back. We did have Good Sam, but we didn't renew that because we noticed that many of the Good Sam parks are also Passport America parks - no they don't tell you that in the Good Sam directory. I would much rather get 50% off than 10% and we did have an experience wanting to extend because of weather. The campground would not extend the PA rate, but would accept the Good Sam for the 10% off and yes - the rates were as advertised and I had to pay a lot more to stay under the Good Sam rate. You can view the campgrounds that participate with PA on their website without being a member. Look and see what campgrounds there are along your route and see if you will be able to use them.
