I agree with all statements. If you are travelling, the PPA is quite handy, and you will save money. If you plan on getting somewhere and staying for weeks or months, it probably will be a wash. We travel fairly steady all winter. We will stay two or three days, then move on. We have found many PPA parks have weekend restrictions, or two or three day limits. We will stay at a destination for the weekend, then travel to a PPA park on Monday, stay a couple days, then move on Wednesday to another PPA park for a few more days. At $44, it only takes a few stays to pay you back. We save about $80 a week for several months this way. As stated, you have to look for the PPA parks on their APP, then look up their website to see what their restrictions are. We found ones that excluded all the winter months, some all summer, some all weekends, etc. We also found many that happened to be in slight disrepair, and had A frame offices. Im guessing they were former KOA campgrounds that had either lost their franchise due to disrepair, or they booted KOA out to save money. Many of the PPA parks are very nice. It was hit and miss really. If you plan to travel mid week in the winter, I think you will get your value out of the pass. We buy it every year we travel.
