We had a Passport America membership for our first year of RV travel. We did not use it much since we spent most of our time in National Parks, National Forests, State campgrounds and BLM lands. Later the membership expired but we used the guide a few times. When setting up reservations we were able to get the same level of discount using our AARP or AAA membership numbers.
Please explain how you can get 50% off, with AARP or AAA. As far as my experience, AAA only gets me the same 10% off that i get with Good Sam.
We've been using PA for at least 10 years and always got our money's worth out of it. Since we never camp during summer, holidays or weekends, it works for us, even before we retired.
Currently booking trips south, for 2 months, with the majority of places at PA member RV parks. We're saving hundreds of dollars and most are great RV parks.
