Well we weren't so lucky. We put the 5er away in early Nov. Put out PP oil soaked cotton balls, sticky traps and 4 poison bars. Went and checked the 5er in early January. All the poison bars were gone!! Mouse poop every where, even found were they had started to make a nest. Peppermint smell was still there just not as strong.
We resoaked the cotton balls with PP oil, put out new poison bars and I threw a bunch of Moth balls on the ground all around the 5er.
Went back out to the storage lot to check yesterday. Poison still there, Peppermint smell minimal but I tell you what. The moth ball stench was strong!! Glad it is just on the outside.
We will go get the 5er soon to bring it home and clean it up. We have had mice every year for the last 4 years. I move the 5er around on the storage lot but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
I would liked to see a pic of the PP oil setup the OP'er used. Thanks, John
Sounds like you need to do a sloppy workmanship check.
Go out at night and turn the lights on in your RV and then crawl underneath.
My guess is you are going to see a light show of all the open holes that were bored too big for wires, pipes, etc and not filled in by the manufacturer. Real common and you will be very surprised to see just how many you will have. That's how all the critters are getting in.
