Side notes.
We're rural. Lots of farm animals all around us. Means a rodent infestation in every barn, shed and stable.
Feb '14 had to replace the wiring harness on the farm pickup - rodents ate so much of the wiring wasn't any cheaper to replace the harness than to patch together what was left.
Dec '14 had to do the same in the car. Damm rodents ate most of the exposed wire while we were in Florida for Christmas vacation.
