Personal experience with having slides and no slides?

I thought this would be a topic that had been discussed ad nauseam but after searching the forum with a fine tooth comb, I couldn't find any threads talking about slides as far as personal experiences...

WE started out in WW II army cots and tents....then to truck campers in the late '60s.....then to 5th wheel trailers in the early 80s.

The 1st 5er was a new 26' rear bath with no slides.

Next was a 27'RK with the big 13' slide.

Liked it so well our next 5er was a 28RK with tow slides.

I'm 77 years old so Put me in the will have slides camp.
