I'm not sure everyone noticed the word controlled. That sure can complicate it. First thing is that my wife's doctor won't write some of the controlled prescriptions for more than 30 days. They can be transferred to another place (Walmart), but only once, so she can't even transfer them back home.
She has been planning ahead and has her doctor write paper prescriptions that she takes with her when we travel. We do not full time, so it's not a big deal unless we are gone more than 60 days.
