Phone battery explosion

I was just reading this post about batteries exploding and thought I might have left my cordless drill battery charging on the garage. Yep, went and pulled it out of the charger and it was hot!! Will make it a point of not leaving them charging overnight or when I'm not going to be around to pull it after a short time of charging.
