Now that you learned about what the truck cannot do and still waiting for the guy who tells that 1/2 tonne cannot to tow over 5000 lbs show up.let me share my thoughts.
I have a level kit so my truck looses rake which gives me a bit of an issue with the hitch going too much down.mine is also the crewmax , so lower payload then yours. So I am thinking of airbags for the porposing effect I experience some times. I like the ride when not loaded so I want somethin I can air up during towing and then it down. I have not TRD so like the softer ride.
I use the equalizer 4 pt sway and once adjusted you will be fine.i have never felt the tail wagging the dog feeling once ,the camper is a little bigger then yours.maybe its the hitch or my setup.
We loaded maybe 300 lbs of stuff in the camper . Bedding some sweatshirts ,a bag of cloths , pots and pans.maybe we travel light.i also only carry 4 bicycles in the back of the truck .total maybe 200 lbs.
