When you get the front back down to the uhhooked height. You ARE returning lost weight to the steering axle. So you ARE transferring weight off the rear to the front. If it settles down past the unhooked height. You are putting more than it had on it. Now if that is only 1/4 to 1/2 inch. you are good. But if it drives good back to the original height. that is good too.
